From July 2012, our company has decided to introduce "carbon offset", which is a mechanism to reduce CO2 emitted on the earth.

"Carbon offset" is a method of compensating (offsetting) all or part of the amount of greenhouse gas emissions that cannot be reduced from economic activities by reducing or absorbing emissions achieved elsewhere.

This is the first carbon offset initiative in the rental car industry, which is an environmental contribution activity carried out together with business partners. Emission reduction costs will be used to fund greenhouse gas emission reduction and absorption projects through the Transportation Ecology and Mobility Foundation.

CO2 emissions are calculated by the Transportation Ecology and Mobility Foundation, which calculates the "offset fee" based on the "Guidelines for calculating GHG emissions from activities eligible for carbon offset" provided by the Carbon Offset Forum (J-COF). It will be entered in the details.

Please note that we will issue a "carbon offset certificate" upon request, so please use it as a corporate message at events or when introducing your hire vehicle to customers.
